MSCAN x Gather My Crew: Helping and caring made easy
MSCAN has partnered with Gather My Crew to help support the melanoma and skin cancer patient community.
The Gather My Crew app supports people to organise help and care. It takes good intentions and turns them into meaningful, coordinated and dependable help for someone who is doing it tough. The good news is that the app is free to download and use.
When someone we care about gets a serious diagnosis, the people around them usually want to help. But wanting to help and knowing how to help are very different things.
Here is our solution!
The partnership between MSCAN and Gather My Crew means that if someone sets up a ‘crew’ in the Gather My Crew app, and lists ‘melanoma or skin cancer’, they will now receive tailored guidance from MSCAN directly within the app.
The guidance is not only for the person who has received the diagnosis. But information for the people around them. The friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues who desperately want to show up but aren’t always sure what showing up looks like.
For us, this feels like the beginning of something important.
Not just helping. Precision helping.
Because support isn’t a one-size-fits-all. A person navigating melanoma has different challenges to someone caring for a parent with dementia, recovering from a broken leg, or grieving. The more relevant and practical the guidance, the more confident people become. And the more confident people become, the more likely they are to lean in.
Together, we’re helping communities show up with more confidence and a lot more clarity.

Where can I sign up?
Gather My Crew app is a simple way for friends, family and community to coordinate support, so care is shared and no one is left managing it alone. The app is free and can be downloaded in the Apple Store or on Google Play.
What happens once I’ve downloaded the app?
There’s an option to select ‘melanoma and skin cancer’. This will ensure the crew receives timely and helpful information on melanoma and skin cancer.
